About the position
We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team. As we are a small office, we do not delegate hire/fire/discipline tasks to our office manager. Rather, our office manager helps us with a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that it takes to keep our firm running. An ideal candidate would have experience working in an office, preferably at least one year in office management, would understand the basics of working with Quickbooks, and would have a strong grasp of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Primary job duties for this position include:
- Bookkeeping for the office, including managing and maintaining business accounts, tracking client payments, handling deposits, and payroll;
- Preparing documents for clients and staff;
- Scheduling appointments and meeting with clients in office as needed;
- Monitoring, ordering and organizing supplies;
- Generally maintaining office efficiency, organization and tidiness.
We are looking for candidates who are well-organized, detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Candidate needs to be able to multi-task. General accounting knowledge is a plus but not necessary. We offer a competitive salary and a flexible schedule, so the position is able to be either part-time or full-time, though full-time is preferred.
